How do I record a feed?

Open Latcharoo on your iPhone or Watch and tap Left or Right. Use the switch button if you change breasts, then Stop when finished. The devices can record independently. A stopped feed is saved locally before the app confirms it.

How do I install it on Apple Watch?

Install Latcharoo on your paired iPhone, then open Apple’s Watch app. Find Latcharoo under Available Apps and choose Install if it was not added automatically. For TestFlight, first accept your invitation and install the iPhone beta through Apple’s TestFlight app. Both devices need a compatible system version and an up-to-date app.

Why have my phone and Watch not synced?

Keep the devices paired and connected, then open Latcharoo on both. Apple controls background delivery, so updates can take time while either app is suspended. Your local records stay on the recording device. If timers were started independently while disconnected, the app preserves both and asks you to stop each one. Do not uninstall as a first troubleshooting step.

How do I add the circle to my Watch face?

Touch and hold your Watch face, choose Edit, then swipe to Complications. Select a compatible circular slot and choose Latcharoo. Availability depends on the face and slot. The faded L or R shows the last recorded breast, the time is since the feed began, and the ring compares today’s recorded time with your recent daily average. It is not a feeding target.

Can I add an iPhone or Lock Screen widget?

Touch and hold your iPhone Home Screen, choose the option to add a widget, then search for Latcharoo. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold it, choose Customise and select the widget area. Sizes and availability depend on your device and iOS version. Widgets can show feeding information to someone viewing your screen.

Why is a Watch-started feed missing from Dynamic Island?

A feed started in the foreground on iPhone can create a Live Activity. Starting only on the Watch cannot always create a new Live Activity while the phone app is suspended. Open Latcharoo on iPhone after syncing to show it. Check that Live Activities are allowed in iPhone Settings. Dynamic Island requires a supported iPhone.

What do Insights and badges mean?

Insights summarise completed, saved feeds, with 7-day and 28-day views. Every side of an active feed stays out of the charts until you stop it. Time can be split across midnight. Badges celebrate recorded milestones and time comparisons. None of these measures milk volume, nutrition, feeding quality or whether your baby has had enough.

How does the trial work?

You get 14 days of access from your first recorded feed. Nothing is charged automatically. Afterwards, an optional one-off Plus purchase lets you start new feeds. You can always stop or finish an active feed and read your saved records, Insights and exports. The current UK unlock price is £2.99. Your App Store purchase confirmation shows the actual local price.

How do I restore Plus?

Open the Plus screen and choose Restore purchases using the same Apple Account used to buy it. You may need to restore on each device. A pending transaction may need Apple approval. Restoring a purchase recovers the unlock, not lost feeding history. For a refund request, use Apple’s purchase support.

How can I export my feeds?

On iPhone, open Feed, scroll to Recent feeds, select See all, then Export CSV. Choose a trusted location in Files. The file is unencrypted and can contain sensitive feeding times. There is currently no import feature, so a CSV export is for reading or sharing rather than restoring the app.

How can I delete my history?

There is currently no delete-all or individual record editor. To remove local feeding records, delete Latcharoo and its app data from both iPhone and Watch. Offloading keeps data. A retained copy on one device or a restored backup can reintroduce history through sync. Delete exported CSV files and unwanted system backups separately. Purchase records and Keychain trial dates are separate. See the privacy policy for details.

What if the app cannot open or save my records?

Use Try again and reopen the app. Do not uninstall or clear data if you want to preserve your records. Keep any export you already have. Contact support with the error message and device details, leaving feeding history out of the first message. There is no developer server copy from which support can restore your records.

Why does it say demo data?

A synthetic ten-week history is used for demonstrations and testing. It is labelled DEMO DATA and is not your real feeding history. Contact support if a beta installation unexpectedly shows demo records.

Is Latcharoo medical advice?

No. Latcharoo is a personal recording tool. Its rings, averages, insights and achievements are not targets or clinical recommendations. Speak to a qualified health professional about feeding or your baby’s wellbeing.
